As we continue to navigate the current volatility in the stock market, we wanted to let you know we made an adjustment to the majority of our investment models. On Friday, we moved funds from the Schwab Value Advantage Money Fund (SWVXX) into the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF (EFA). This fund offers broad exposure to countries in Europe, Asia, and the Far East, providing a diversified approach to international stocks. The economists we follow feel that developed international stocks continue to be undervalued, and they have held strong so far in 2025, which gives us confidence to add additional money to this sector.[1]
The capital for this transition came from our sale of American Funds New World Fund (NFFFX), an emerging markets stock fund.
We made these trades on Friday, so we were especially happy to see the potential easing of tariffs between the U.S. and China in the news yesterday.
